Puffy Cheek Breathing

If I'm in a pinch: I enjoy the quick discreet puffy cheek breathing. This approach achieves the same deep breath work. Inhale deeply through your belly button. Puff the cheeks out and purse your lips together as you exhale slowly. Repeat as needed.

Grounding Techniques

Quick Tips:

Name 5 Things you see in your Space.

(white pillow, desk lamp, lego flowers, clock and lip gloss)

 

Choose a Color and Identify 5 Things you see in your space of that same color. 

(Brown floor, brown desk, brown shoes, brown pillow, brown door knob)

Discreet Grounding Technique:

Internally say: The time and your location.

​

Example: It is 10:53am and I am sitting at my desk, in my office, located in Charleston, SC.​​​​
